Conventional sail versus rectified B40 MATERRUP blocks. The result speaks for itself: a staggering 88% reduction in carbon avoidance!

Because a hollow block inherently consumes less material, we believe at MATERRUP that it's a solution to prioritize whenever possible, including for structural works. Because a square meter of masonry block will always be more carbon-efficient than a square meter of sail, we have worked to provide you with a hollow block solution:

👉 Equally performant: all the results of our hollow blocks rigorously meet the same performance standards as conventional blocks.

👉 Fully substitutable: no need to think twice, our blocks can be implemented exactly under the same conditions as a conventional block.

👉 Equally resistant, especially to fire (REI=120 and RE=360): because user safety is a priority.

👉 Certified: our blocks benefit from CE marking and comply with the EN 771-3 standard.

👉 Available immediately: because your construction sites deserve the best without delay.

Regarding carbon footprint, because words alone are not enough, we had our masonry blocks' carbon footprint verified by independent experts to provide you with a verified Environmental Product Declaration (EPD):

🍀 With equivalent performance, our rectified B40 structural blocks with thin joints installed with conventional mortar enable an immediate and unprecedented carbon avoidance of 88% compared to a C25/30 masonry and 37.5% compared to conventional blocks.
🎖 The square meter of MATERRUP B40 structural blocks is equivalent to only 6.44 kg CO2 eq.

The EPD of our blocks takes into account the entire product lifecycle, from raw material extraction to end-of-life, including transportation, implementation, and product usage.
