New Projectc: The MATERRUP concrete block in a project by the DEMATHIEU BARD group in the Paris region

The DEMATHIEU BARD BUILDING ILE DE FRANCE teams have implemented our solution of hollow blocks, MATERRUP, in a large-scale project for the group: partition walls constructed using 8,700 innovative hollow blocks produced by MATERRUP Low Carbon Cements.

What are the benefits of using these blocks for our partners?

🌱 Significant environmental impact: -44% CO2 immediately, with a carbon footprint equal to 9.41 kg CO2 eq/m² compared to 16.5 kg CO2 eq/m² for the originally planned blocks. This is even -88% compared to solid walls.
🔄Optimal flexibility: fully interchangeable in terms of performance and implementation, hollow blocks are perfectly and simply adapted to all construction projects, including very large volumes.

💼  This ease of implementation has convinced DEMATHIEU BARD REAL ESTATE to deploy this solution on other DEMATHIEU BARD group projects, particularly a collective housing project in Chennevières-sur-Marne.

🗨️Jonathan Chemouil, Director of Technical Innovation at DEMATHIEU BARD: "This full-scale test has allowed us to confirm the strong interest we have in this solution. We have thus identified new projects where we can use this solution. Furthermore, the feedback from the implementation encourages us to deploy this solution more widely within the DEMATHIEU BARD group, both for construction projects and those through our real estate development subsidiary. »

🗨️Mathieu Neuville, CEO of MATERRUP: "We share a common ambition with DEMATHIEU BARD, to contribute to decarbonizing construction. This new solution provides an immediate and cost-effective alternative to decarbonize all construction projects. The ease of implementation is also a key success factor for all operational teams of our partners in the field on a daily basis. We are proud to support the DEMATHIEU BARD group in their decarbonization efforts and to write a new chapter of our partnership with them."
